Great Britain’s Tim Don made his fusion debut in style by winning this 'destination race' ironman 70.3 Monterrey in Mexico by running away from the competition.

Don combined a 23:13 swim, a 2:07:33 bike and a 1:13:38 half marathon to earn the 3:46:59 victory. Mexico’s Francisco Serrano used a strong bike to finish second, while American Ben Hoffman was solid across the three disciplines to earn third. full race report can be found through the Ironman site
